enchanted towers and poison apples

I am in an artistic head-space.
I've been drawing for hours.
And yesterday I composed a song on the piano.
I am naming it 'Poison Apple'.
I have a 'fairytale and fantasy' project right now.
And so everything I'm creating is relevant to that project.
I drew three sketches tonight, under the premise of Rapunzel.

Picture one is the beautiful Rapunzel in tears, her hair chopped at the shoulders.
The next is a pile of plaited hair, cut from its owner, and an antique pair of scissors lying on the ground.
And the last is a landscape scene of Rapunzel's tower, with the door flung open from the inside, and footprints walking away from the fairytale.
It portrays the less happy ending of the tale, where the Prince never comes to rescue her.
I will try and post the sketches on here soon.

I love sitting and sketching.
It's escapism in the best possible way.
As long as I have my iPod and my special mellow playlist, I can sit for hours.
